Blast Off*
Curiosity, discovery, exploration and insight are how I solve business writing problems. (And you thought I was just listing NASA missions.) Come to me if you’re looking for words to connect your business to its audience.

I also write songs. A pretty well-known songwriter said of one of my songs, it’s got more hooks than Moby Dick. To me writing is asking, what’s in this project that makes me care so I want to shout it out loud? If the writer doesn’t care, how can he/she make someone else care?
And there are no better strategies ever devised for putting across ideas than rhythm and pattern (and rhyme and tune). Read some of my business writing — I think you’ll catch my drift.
Before writing freelance, in my agency I wrote for organizations including Dale Carnegie (direct response campaigns), Exemplar Pharmaceuticals (brochures, flyers, web), Shaughnessy Crane Service (brochures, flyers), Bryley Systems (newsletter, technical writing, marketing writing), Worcester Gear (newsletters, direct response, brochures, flyers, web), bars and restaurants (flyers, social media campaigns). In my agency role I also solved business marketing problems for WPI, Mass Easter Seals, EMC and UMass Medical Center Foundation.
* isn’t blast off somehow cuter than lift off? was that its downfall? you never hear blast off anymore
