Isolation Self-Portrait

This painting began as a black ink drawing. Its marks suggested to me a portrait (in a Rohrshach way). Of course, I am always thinking ovoids (the Northern art basis of composition). So I worked on top of my underpainting of strokes, curves and splotches to find this literal meaning: becoming the egg-man.
